“We continued bilateral talks with Qadri which eventually resulted in peaceful diffusion of protesters from Islamabad and we expect same from the PTI sit-in,” Sarwar said while speaking to media representatives in Sahiwal.
He was hopeful that PTI will also negotiate with the government.
Admitting that protesting is the right of the every citizen of Pakistan, he upheld that they should be held in a constitutional manner. He also added that the protest were ill-timed and are worsening the problems of citizens.
“Protests are diverting the attention of the government from the basic problems of health and education the political parties should understand this,” the Punjab governor said.

@Humza: everyone seems to decipher the televised events differently, the footage does not display actors, being shot at by police, and its a figment of the population of Pakistan , that sees Gullu leading the charge,defenceless pregnant woman being shot head on, besides life is pretty much worthless in The Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as that of Wagah's blast victims unless of course one happens to be somewhat related to an ex PM and such like elites and their walahs.

@zaman: The brainwashed PAT followers who were killed in Lahore is the responsibility of Tahirul Qadri who incited them to attack police with sticks, rocks and guns. Tahirul Qadri should be charged and jailed for provoking violence. Imagine is this guy had asked his followers in Canada to attack police and law enforcement officials. The security people in Canada would not think twice about attacking anyone anywome who is attacking them and behaving like they are above the law.

Was it to save the govt. why Qadri was not prosecuted as per law for inciting followers to violence which resulted in the death of many in Model Town? And, now PTI is being offered an olive branch and are not being held accountable for holding the nation hostage and for causing massive economic losses. Who would hold the Government responsible for its lack of duty in protecting the national interests?
The problem is that Imran lives in Islamabad and luxury to go home after few hours of enjoyment. He also has a choice to visit other places whenever he is bored of same routine. His few followers also go home for rest and return in evening to enjoy concert. Whereas Qadri had to spend his whole day and night in container surrounded by his followers which meant more expenses and more time to live in garbage. Imran's dharna will never end until government clears it or force dharna participants to stay there 24/7, Imran has no family, no friends and no job. He has found something for enjoyment, he will never back off.
NO justice for The LAHORE 14 butchered by a dynastic regime, except now we may sooner or later have Sarwar's son join him in Punjab House.
Also ,the inability of the regime to function is because of their own inadequacies and no one else's.
