Unidentified thieves burgled a house in the airport area and looted cash and other valuables.
Col (retd) Shabbir Ahmed Khan lodged a complaint with the police that thieves had broken into his house while he was away and took away Rs150,000, a laptop, gold and other valuables.
Meanwhile, armed robbers have deprived Syed Jawad, an employee of the planning and development department Peshawar, of Rs50,000, $12, a cell phone and his service card.
