Whereabouts Unknown : DUHS professor missing

KARACHI: An assistant professor at the Dow University of Health Sciences, Dr Darshan Kumar, has been missing since Thursday morning. Kumar’s brother Avinash informed the Ibrahim Hyderi police about his brother’s disappearance. SHO Naik Muhammad Jakhrani told The Express Tribune that Dr Kumar, a resident of Ibrahim Hyderi, went to drop his children to school near Bhittai Colony after which he was on his way to work at the university’s Ojah Campus near Mosamyat. Dr Kumar, however, never made it to work. The family has informed the Anti-Violent Crime Cell and the Citizen Police Liaison Committee about Kumar’s disappearance. The police said the family has yet to register an FIR.
