Road accident leaves one army personnel dead, 15 others injured

CHINIOT: A Pakistan Army truck travelling from Gujranwala to Jhang met with an accident on Wednesday, leaving one person dead and 15 others injured, Express News reported. 

The truck, which was transporting young army personnel for duty in Jhang during Muharram, was allegedly speeding and as a result upturned at Jandwala Colony.

Lance Corporal Muhammad Qamar passed away in the accident, which also left 15 young personnel injured.

Workers of Rescue 1122 arrived at the scene of the accident and transported the injured to DHQ Hospital, where the condition of two army personnel is said to be critical.
