Truck plunges into deep gorge on Karakoram Highway in Dobair area says police

KOHISTAN: Three people were killed when a truck plunged into a deep gorge on Karakoram Highway in Dobair area, police said on Monday. According to the police, the truck was on its way to Rawalpindi from Dobair when the driver lost control of the vehicle which consequently fell into a ravine hundreds of feet below, killing all three occupants. The bodies were retrieved from the wreckage after cutting through the vehicle which took two hours. The deceased were then shifted to Pattab Hospital. They were identified as Kifayatullah, Haji Irshad and Furqan Ahmed.
