Gullu Butt denies Model Town vandalism
Butt, who is allegedly a police tout and Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) supporter, was seen on TV damaging cars parked in the area where security forces and supporters of Tahirul Qadri clashed on June 17. An anti-terrorism court had indicted him for this but he pleaded not guilty to these charges and referred to them as 'baseless.'
Speaking to the media today, Butt denied that he had broken any windows during the clashes. "The media is my witness; police can say whatever they want to say; I have no enmity towards them," said Butt.
On further questioning by media person, however, Butt admitted to destroying only two windows. "The number of windows I broke has been exaggerated; I only broke two windows," Butt said assuredly.
Commenting on his public image, Butt said that everyone 'loved' him. "People meet me with love and respect and it is the media who has damaged my reputation," he said.
"I am a loving person and people meet me with respect. It is not my fault that the media is portraying me as a terrorist. I am not a terrorist," Butt added.

Why are we trying to make him a hero with our valuable comments & time...leave him...the more we talk, the more he gets media coverage. Only Allah swt knows best...only insha Allah time will prove if he is a hero or zero....justice will be done by Allah swt. So, please guys be patience if you all believe in Allah swt.

He is just following the examples of his party leaders.What is wrong with that?? His leader lied on the floor of the parliament at front of cameras. So he can too.
Gullu Butt made the pakistani law as a joke,he has the backing of police and Nawaz sharif,otherwise he would not dare to damage any property,He should be punished and he should name those people who are supporting him.
Oh come on, he has broken only 2 car windows and you people want to send him to jail. This guy should not be on the streets but again there are thousands of these kind of guys who are working for political parties, look around you and you will find them. It is a travesty that the judge could not see the video tape as an evidence and above all the police was standing there and let him do this destruction to the private property. The police is as much guilty of protecting the criminals and should be fired from job. It is shameful affair in Punjab where police is politicized to such an extent where the people don't feel safe and lives could be taken any time at the whims of Chief Minister or any other so called higher ups. We have seen how the police refused to even register FIR when 14 unarmed political activists were gunned down by the them on the orders of the Chief Minister, he may deny it but we know better. It all comes down to the people, they elected these thugs and will elect them again and again. I say they deserve them.
Sorry state of affair in our beloved country - Pakistan. The media channels are full of his action, yet he is not indicted yet ? where the judges want TV footage or talk show against them can be accepted as evidence, but in this case, the court is not recognizing TV footages as evidence. Can there be more injustice than this in any civilized country ? Does these judges think they will remain immune to justice by Allah swt ? insha Allah their children will be bashed like gullu butt did to car glasses...only then may be their eyes will pop out....
He can deny but Cameras don't lie. He will never be convicted because the Justice system is literally Blind in Pakistan. How can Pakistan Judges convict a future MNA
Yes, gullu bhai is right. He only broke 2 windows and that was also by accident. It is very unfair that people are picking on gullu bhai because he is a supporter of PMLN. And our nice punjab police decided not to arrest gullu bhai because he never commited any crime! This has been proven by the punjab courts releasing gullu bhai!
I look forward to seeing gullu bhai standing for at least an MPA from PMLN in next elections.

The Judge should add this to his crime list.The Judge should now wrap up this case and award exemplary punishment.Any more delay makes the Judge suspect.
The judiciary has become a joke.
If a court cannot decide a straight forward case such then we need to seriously think if the present court system is worth having in the first place. If the Taliban courts can decide in a couple of days then why can't our highly paid judges.
He is in fact mocking our judicial system.......and he'll get away with it.

Gullu butt was checking quality of windows in cars as part of standard quality control process. Nothing wrong in it.
