
Last year’s runners-up started the match with confidence and Muhammad Rasool scored the opening goal in the 43rd minute to give KE a 1-0 lead going into the break.
However, PAF contained the Karachi-based club in the second half and Asifuddin managed to snatch a late equaliser in the 83rd minute.
PAF moved level on points at the top with 14 points and are placed second, ahead of KPT, due to a superior goal difference.
KE, however, have struggled so far, winning only one, losing two and drawing the other.
Railways hold Muslim FC
In the second match of the day, hosts Railways held Muslim FC to a 1-1 draw in Lahore.
Wajid Ali scored in the 30th minute but Muslim FC’s Muhammad Hanif equalised just four minutes later.
