Maintaining peace: Entry of 52 clerics banned in RYK

RAHIM YAR KHAN: The district administration on Friday put a ban on the entry of 52 clerics and issued gag orders against other 29 others to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the district during Moharram. Talking to newsmen, DPO Suhail Zafar Chathha said he had ordered all subdivisional officers and station house officers to enforce the ban. Aurangzeb Farooqi and Maulana Talib Jauhari from Karachi, Maulana Masoodur Rehman Usmani of Rawalpindi, Maulana Muhammad Muavia Azim from Jhang, Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi from Toba Tek Singh, Dr Khadim Hussain Dhilon of Khanewal were the clerics whose entry was banned in the city.
