In a television interview in Birmingham, Malala said she would spend the prize money on education for the children in Pakistan.

The youngest peace prize winner said she also had plans to establish a state-of-the-art educational institute with modern facilities for students in Pakistan.
She added that her only mission was to help ensure that every child in Pakistan went to school.

@Such Bolta Hooon: Nobel Peace Prize is never for paid soldiers but for non-violent people who work for peace and betterment of humans. This prize is not given to those who make a living or political life out of their humanitarian work. It is for selfless souls not for paid mercenaries or opportunist gold diggers. Malala gave up her life and is fighting the brutal fanatic terrorists by peaceful means and spreading hope not death without any business to enrich herself. Nobel Peace Prize is a prize that is given by not Pakistani or any country's public but a committee under certain rules and procedures. Some rightwing Pakistanis would rather see Afia getting such prize or somebody living like king in a palace using other people's money. When Pakistan awards its civilian and military awards by whole sale nobody in the world cares as it is Pakistani govt choice. By the time Malala reaches the age of Mandela and others you can compare her with him or others. While in Pakistan and Afghanistan the results are never acknowledges the world does not care about that. Cheers! M
But please only live in PM House or Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad under the hundreds of security guards and address the Pakistani people thru video conference or electronic media most especially importantly PTV because only in the that places Malala you can live safely and securely.....
If there were no taliban Malala will still be in Pakistan going to school. Malala should thank Taliban for Nobel prize.
Something to think about; Why Edhi sahib doesn't get that level of profile considering his humanitarian work is extraordinary.
Why does he not get nominated for an international award like Malala does.
Why Malala's sacrifices are more than the likes of Chaudhry Aslam and many soldiers of Pakistani Army who have fought for a noble cause to defeat the Taliban.
Could anyone compare Nelson Mandela's struggle of 27 years , mother Terresa life long dedicated support to people with HIV/AIDS, leprosy and tuberculosis with Malala's work on education (establishing a school and promoting education for few years and then experience an attack).
Sorry! Malala is over rated.
You go girl! Let the conservatives burn!
