Invalid operations: Medical store sealed in Golra

Standards and Rock medical stores were issued warnings for poor sanitation conditions at their premises

ISLAMABAD: The drug inspector of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration sealed a medical store in Golra Sharif for operating illegally, informed an ICT spokesperson on Tuesday. ICT Drug Inspector Shabbir Hussain conducted a surprise visit to Golra and sealed Naveed Medical Store for operating without a valid licence. The official also fined two medical stores, identified as Nirma and Adil medical stores for contravention of the Drug Act, 1976.  Beside, Standards and Rock medical stores were issued warnings for poor sanitation conditions at their premises. The official directed the owners of the medical stores to ensure strict compliance to the rules otherwise strict action would be taken against them.
