Eight labourers killed in Balochistan
The victims belonged to different areas of Punjab.
According to Lasbela police, a group of armed men barged into a poultry farm, Ali Poultry Farm, in the Abbas Goth area of Lasbela district and kidnapped nine labourers.
The armed men took the labourers to a nearby area, where they opened fire at them.
“The bodies of eight labourers were found dumped in a mountainous area while one labourer was found injured,” a police officer said.
Police, quoting the injured labourer, said kidnappers opened fire at the labourers after checking their ID cards.
The dead bodies and injured were brought to Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital for autopsy. The bodies bore multiple marks of bullets.
The victims were residents of Multan, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur and other towns of Punjab.
There have been no claims of responsibility for the killings of labourers as yet. Balochistan government spokesperson Jan Buldedi condemned the killings.
“Law enforcing agencies should ensure the culprits involved in this heinous crime are arrested on an immediate basis,” Buledi said.

@Chachoo The counterpoint is ET and DAWN are trying to wake up this country to some grim realities. Our country is slipping into an abyss with no end in sight. Why are we picking up a confrontation with India now? Has this helped us in anyway in 68 years? There are 1000 problems in this country where India has nothing to do.
Killing of innocent people cannot be justified by any reason. This shows the in apathy of State, which must deal with terrorists with iron hands. Wherever it is proved that killing is made on political grounds, the Govt. must register cases against the heads of political parties, as they are the one who provoke, incite and sponsor such killings not only in Balochistan, but also in other parts of Pakistan like Karachi, Quetta, Lahore and etc. Otherwise, these unknown assailants, will keep on killing the innocent people without any restraint.
These cowards would not dare to kill any other race. Afghans and Pakhtoons have occupied more than half of Balochistan and have made it part of their kingdom but these cowards have no courage to touch them. Their venom is only against poor Punjabis who have gone there to work. Punjabis have proven that they are not united and they don't take these incidents seriously.
These seperatists hide in the mountainous areas of Balochistan, and in Afghanistan. Why doesn't the Government launch an operation in the mountainous areas, and maintain an Army cantonment there also? And close off the Afghan border?
Very very sad to hear this. They are creating hatred amongst each other on the basis of language. They completely forget that they will be accountable to God one day.
