Pakistan, who won their first medal of the Games this year, lost 3-0 to the arch-rivals who eventually finished with a silver after going down to China in the final.
Sohail Shahzad was thrashed by Mehta Aditya 84-8 in the first frame before Yasin Merchant made it 2-0 for India, beating Imran Shahzad 75-45. Pakistan were unlucky in the doubles frame when they fouled 12 times after being snookered by Merchant. Imran and Shehram Changezi eventually lost the frame 91-61 as India completed the 3-0 rout.
Women cricketers enter semis
Pakistan women cricket team continued its good run in the event when they overwhelmed hosts China by nine wickets to enter the semi-finals.
Pakistan repeated a disciplined bowling performance and restricted the hosts to 60 for four after opting to bowl first.
In reply, Pakistan achieved the target easily in the 13th over to confirm their place in the last-four.
Javeria Wadood remained unbeaten on 27 while Nida Rashid hit 27 as they put on 60 for the opening wicket.
Sailors disappoint
Pakistan put up a disappointing show in the sailing events after they failed to end in the top five.
The sailors finished a low 10th after all the four races were competed. Pakistan also failed to produce impressive results in the competition.
Meanwhile, Matiur Rehman finished fifth in the weightlifting 69-kilogramme category while Ayatullah failed to impress in the 66-kg category of the judo event, finishing outside the top five.
Pakistan also qualified for the semi-finals in Wushu. Ijaz Ahmed outclassed his opponent Magsarjave of Mangolia in the 75-kilogramme event while Maaz Khan has lost his 65-kg bout.
