ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Police on Friday arrested five persons in possession of 48 bottles of liquor, 1.2 kilogramme hashish and weapons. A police spokesperson said that a team of Shahzad Town Police Station on a tip-off searched vehicles and found 48 bottles of liquor in a car (IDL-9158). They arrested the driver, Shaoor Rehmat. Koral police arrested a person, Habibuo Rehman for carrying a pistol while Sihala police recovered a pistol from Mohsin Ali. Saqib was apprehended by Tarnol police in possession of a 30-bore pistol. A team of Ramna police nabbed Muzaffar Iqbal during patrolling and recovered 1.2 kilogramme hashish from his possession. The police have registered cases against the suspects.
