PESHAWAR:

A woman was injured when a bomb planted outside a medicine store exploded in Peshawar’s Hashtnagri area.

DSP Sajjad Khan blamed the attack on unidentified militants who had planted the timed device outside the Imperial Medicine shop.

The explosive device was detonated just as a woman was passing by, he said. She was not seriously injured, he added. An eyewitness told the police that a man left something near the drug store and went away and few minutes later there was a blast.
