The week-long mobile camp will visit different parts of Bajaur Agency where military medics will provide free diagnoses, treatment and medicine to the underprivileged.

About 2,000 patients were examined on the day of the launch. Senior officials of security forces were also present at the occasion.

Camp in charge Bajaur Scouts Captain Dr Muhammad Usman told the media that the drive was initiated on the directives of Bajaur Scouts Commandant Colonel Mir Amir Ali.

“The camp is meant to facilitate underprivileged people of remote areas,” said Dr Usman, adding that it will not only help prevent seasonal ailments but also provide rehabilitation facilities for those with disabilities. He added more camps will be set up in different areas of the region in the future.
