Deadly attack: Man killed, son injured by rivals

Police set up pickets in area after the attack

BAHAWALPUR: A man was shot dead and his son was critically injured by unidentified attackers on Wednesday near Rahim Yar Khan. Gunmen fired at Allah Ditta and his son Moeen when they were returning to Basti Laraan after closing their medical store. Airport police said that Allah Ditta and Moeen were shot near Kacha Sadiqabad Road. They were taken to Shaikh Zayed Hospital. Allah Ditta died from his wounds and Moeen was in critical condition. Police set up pickets in the area after the attack. However, no arrests have been made so far.
