“We do not do politics on anyone’s instructions nor do we do dharnas on anyone’s dictation,” he said in an apparent criticism of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek sit-ins, which have been widely alleged of being ‘scripted.’
Addressing the media, the PPP leader requested PTI chairperson Imran Khan to withdraw his statements against PPP workers and render an unconditional apology.
Earlier, the PTI chairperson had stated that the PPP would not be able to gather supporters at the rally and those who attend it would do so out of compulsion not voluntarily and enthusiastically.
"We cannot give anyone the license to spread a culture of rudeness," Memon said.
“First, Imran Khan was defaming political leaders and now he’s degrading masses as he sits in an air-conditioned container while the poor sit on the roads," he added.
Referring to security arrangements for the rally, Memon said the Sindh government provides the same security for all rallies in Sindh.
PPP patron-in-chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is set to address supporters at the rally in Karachi on October 18.
“Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is the only ray of hope for this country,” the PPP leader added, confident that a large number of people would turn up at the rally.

Pakistani people love their sister Bilawali..............though a little manlike !!!
“Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is the only ray of hope for this country”
What was he smoking when he said this??
Your party ALWAYS comes in power through a deal with the 'establishment', and you have the cheeks to say that to someone who has risen through popular vote. The Army NEEDS to be behind PTI, not the other way round buddy.
And this kid who is your leader, who has barely crossed puberty, the only reason he is your boss now is because of his lineage? When will you all get out of this servitude? Oh wait, you won't because it serves your trivial selfish purposes. Right.
Instead of holding rallies and jalsas, people in power should be working towards improving the conditions of common masses. These events do nothing, except waste resources, time and money. The PPP has nothing to show for itself in Sindh.
