In a directive to the Islamabad administration, the interior minister said steps should be taken to improve traffic flow in the federal capital.
He asked the administration to facilitate the residents in performing their day-to-day routine activities.
The containers had been placed for security of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek protesters who had started protests in the capital on August 15.
Earlier, the Supreme Court, while hearing a petition filed by Supreme Court Bar Association president had ordered the protesters to abandon their Constitution Avenue camps – whose presence has restricted public access to the court.

Inqilab tehreek, born on August 14/2014 died in Islamabad today for multiple organ failures. It is blaimed that 'doctors' didn't come time to rescue the patient.
The body ( PML-N ) is still asleep this looks like a flutter of the eyelids while still asleep.
Wow it took this buffoon 60 days to remove the containers?
Where is the Supreme Court? or the High court? Contempt of court maybe? for not obliging by the ruling made 2 months ago?
gonawazgo #nonawaznoPMLn and SC behavior has restricted the access of common Pakistani to their political rights. If courts become supporter of status quo then forget that common man will ever get justice. Family owned political parties, military establishment and Higher Courts will ruin this country one day..
