Educational tour: UK delegation visits Bahria University

Teachers, researchers and international students from various universities of the United Kingdom visited the Bahria University (BU) on Monday.


BU Pro-Rector Rear Admiral (retired) Saleem Akhter welcomed the delegates, which included managers, researchers and international students from 17 UK universities, at the campus.


The varsities included University of Nottingham, University of York, School of Oriental & African Studies University of London, University of Kent, Coventry University, University of Sheffiled and Middlesex University, among others.


They took a tour of the campus and interacted with faculty and students, and also appreciated the infrastructure and research facilities. The delegates also briefed BU students about education opportunities in the UK.


BU Rector Vice Admiral (retired) Shahid Iqbal presented souvenirs to the delegates.
