Warning: No patrolling in private vehicles, says CPO

Police officials, including station house officers, told to use only official vehicles for the purpose

FAISALABAD: City Police Officer (CPO) Sohail Habib Tajik said action would be taken police officials using private vehicles for patrolling. In a warning issued on Saturday, the CPO said, “Those patrolling in private vehicles cause confusion among citizens. Police officials, including station house officers, must use only official vehicles for the purpose.” “Official patrolling vehicles with revolving light atop help suppress street crime,” the CPO said.
