Tragic: Two killed in road accidents

Police register case against car driver

ISLAMABAD: A young boy was killed in a traffic accident in the limits of Shahzad Town police on Saturday. Samuel Masih lodged a report stating that his seven-year-old son, Umar, was crossing the Islamabad Expressway when a speeding car knocked him down and killed him. The police registered a case against the car driver. Meanwhile, a man was killed after being hit by a car in Golra. Muhammad Ikram told the police that his nephew, Muhammad Ashraf, was travelling on a motorcycle on Kashmir Highway when a speeding car hit him. He was taken to PIMS where he died while the car driver sped away, he added. A case has been registered against the car driver, said a press release.
