World Post Day: Postal Union anniversary celebrated

Pakistan Post celebrates anniversary to further strengthen its mission and goals

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Post on Thursday celebrated the 140th anniversary of the foundation of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) to further strengthen its mission and goals. Pakistan Post traditionally celebrates the World Post Day every year on October 9, with a renewed resolve to provide postal, financial, logistic and customised e-services to the customers for meeting the demands of the technology driven competitive environment. Mashal Khan, Director General, Pakistan Post hoisted UPU flag in a simple ceremony organised in the Directorate General attended by the staff and officers.
