Zahra shahid murder: Alvi wants killers made public

PTI parliamentarian Dr Arif Alvi demanded Zahra Shahid Hussain's murderers to unveil

KARACHI: The murderers of Zahra Shahid Hussain should be unveiled, said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) parliamentarian Dr Arif Alvi on Thursday. Speaking to journalists at Shirazi House in DHA, the MNA welcomed a former Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) worker, Ahsaan Shah Shirazi, into PTI. He demanded that those responsible for Zahra Shahid’s death should be brought in front of the public. The PTI leader lashed out at the PPP, saying that the party was only holding a rally on October 18 because it was losing popularity. “The slogan ‘roti, kapra, makaan’ [food, clothing, house] is a mere slogan and is far from reality,” he claimed, adding that the people of Sindh were suffering because of the provincial government’s inefficiency and corruption.
