Accident: Girl drowns in water tank
Iqra was pulled out in an unconscious state and taken to Khanpur Hospital
HARIPUR:
A three-year-old girl drowned in an underground water tank in Haripur, police and family sources said on Thursday. Naveed Khan said his daughter Iqra Bibi was playing with a ball in the courtyard when she dropped the ball in the uncovered water tank. According to Khan, his daughter fell in the 10-foot deep tank when she bent over to retrieve the ball. Her siblings, who witnessed the accident, called the family for help. Iqra was pulled out in an unconscious state and taken to Khanpur Hospital but died before getting medical aid.
