Firing on passenger plane near Peshawar airport
The firing took place around 4:30 am this morning, according to sources in the police. No casualty or loss of life was reported till the filing of this report.
The sources also said that the four men, in possession of machine guns as well as hand grenades, fired at the plane in the Suleman Khel area at the time of landing.
It was reported that the pilot managed to land the plane successfully and security forces have started a search operation following the attack.
SSP Operations, however, has said that reports of firing on the plane are not true.
This is the fourth such attack in Peshawar in the last few months.
On September 27, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft was fired upon during landing at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar. However, there were no casualties.
On September 1, a Russian cargo plane came under fire in the Sheikh Muhammadi area of Badhaber, while in June this year, a PIA flight PK-756 was fired upon in a similar fashion in the same area. One woman was killed and two persons were injured in the attack.

Sheer failure of KPK government
Maybe imran khan should focus on KPK and not the dharnas. How can he say anything to NS, when his party has miserably failed to deliver in KPK. Go Imran Go.
PTI has failed miserably in KPK. The so called police reforms have done jack when planes are regularly being fired upon when coming to land at Peshawar. ANPs management of KPK was far better at least one could fly to Peshawar. If these incident continue the airport will soon be shut.
If Pakistan allow to cut hand.feet of this type of criminal.then all crimes will stop.Pakistan ssystom release them is dubt in case.if 5 confirm the crime then there be ni benefit of dubt.if they stop releasing criminal.terrorist.there be no crime.terrorism.with no hand.feet be a lesson for others.

I don't know why airlines have been allowed to take off or land in Peshawar. If any untoward incident happens most of the international airlines will stop flights all across pakistan. It's better to stop operations at one airport instead.
This is all part of greater game being played in Pakistan to some how declared fail state so far not so easy.

Nawaz Shareef´s government should also be on the suspect list, they are the ones gaining on this incident.

The police Stationed in that area and police personals are highly incompetent, corrupt and for years are involved in crimes with the local criminal from whom they taking regular bribes. The people are also very concern about the unlawful activities of police and exploitation of the innocent people. As for as the corrupt and illiterate police department is not been clear....both the Nation and country assets will be at risk. In KP about 80% crimes, act of crimes and in general insecurity KP police are involved either directly or indirectly. KP police are the main catalyst and a big threat to the peace, justice and security. Trusting police and ignoring the fact is the big risk for the stability and peace and taking national favor.

The official statement of denial from the SSP operations read "Ji Nahi, Ji Nahi... Kohi Nahi!!"...
Not surprising that many foreign airlines refuse to land in Pakistan Instead of flying passengers to their destinations they will become flying coffins and their decision is correct.
How did they know there were 4 attackers.?And if a plane could be hit by grenades(or so the attackers think)it has to be flying pretty close to the ground or the houses are too close to the airport.From the way these attacks are happening.it is not far that a major disaster might happen.
