"We are loyal to Ameer-ul-Momineen (Mullah Omar) and question does not arise to withdraw from his allegiance," Shahidullah Shahid, spokesperson for Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) said.
Clarifying his earlier reported comments about allegiance to the Islamic State, Shahid said the TTP had only commended the group.
"We had only praised the Islamic State and advised them to set aside differences and show unity," the TTP spokesperson told The Express Tribune in a late Sunday email.
Shahid said the TTP will also issue a clarification about remarks attributed to him.
The TTP chief Mullah Fazaullah on Saturday had praised the Islamic State and assured its complete support in his Eid message.
Declaring those who are fighting in Iraq and Syria as brothers, he said, “We are proud of their victories and advise them at this difficult time to forge unity, especially when the enemy stands united against them."
The message was sent to the media in Pashto, Urdu and Arabic languages via email. It is the first time the Pakistani Taliban issued message on the eve of Eid like the Afghan Taliban, who regularly issues Eid messages.
Fazalullah urged the Islamic State fighters to fight against the “world infidel force with unity and to set aside differences.”
"A lot of hopes have been attached to the land of Iraq and Syria. We are with you at this difficult moment,” the Taliban leader said.
In his message, Fazlullah had declared that the Pakistani Taliban does not recognize the Durand Line, which separates Pakistan and Afghanistan.
"We want to declare that we do not accept the Durand Line, which has divided the Pashtoon Muslims like the Berlin Wall. It has separated father from son, brother from brother and relatives," he said.
“We do not accept boundaries and international borders. We accept only one border and that is the boundary between Darul Islam and Darul Harb."
He referred to the rare pace dialogue with the government earlier this year and claimed that the government was “responsible for its failure.”
“The peace talks were failed as the Taliban demanded enforcement of the Islamic Sharia; however, the "westernized rulers" were unwilling to accept the demand.”
"The rulers were insisting the talks should be held under the Pakistani constitution. We were calling for Quran and Sunnah should be the base for the talks but they preferred the constitution."
He said the Taliban faced military operations but did not deviate from its stance, adding the Taliban will not sign any such deal which is a contrary to this principle.

@WB: that means you are doomed ! Imran wants to talk to TTP (Modi) and NAwaz talks to Modi. so Modi ll run your country in either case
@ashar: so Americans are droning them.?Why?
In the West, it is an agreed principle followed by all Western media establishment not to negotiate with, propagate the view point or give any media space to terrorists, dangerous criminals or other groups working against the state. Question is why are they so eager to propagate the messages originating from these dubious organisations whose main function is to create 'fasad' in Muslim lands. My own opinion is that the actual people behind these declarations and messages are the same who used to produce fake Osama bin Laden's tapes to scare the Western populations, to use these tapes as pretext to invade Muslim lands and to implicate Islam and Muslims in the events surrounding 9/11 attacks. Same propaganda is being repeated and people are buy it for real. In Pakistan the effect is that petty groups of criminals are pretending to be Taliban and scaring the government and society as if they are invincible. Our newspapers and electronic media -if they really are ours - are facilitating, even spreading this propaganda lies without questioning the veracity of of the information. In many cases even the wording is exactly the same. I remember several weeks ago I emailed an article which describes in depth and detail how the Western propaganda machinery works: their attack is multi prong and their methods are extremely deceptive.
@WB: "I thought TTP was only loyal to Modi."
Not sure about that but they themselves are wholeheartedly supported by PTI
Biggest lie of the century. How the American patronized group of culprits have any relationship with Mullah Umar.
Another U-turn.Like the army said they are on the run,and are confused .
I thought TTP was only loyal to Modi.
It seems ET did not have the courage to publish my comment (they often don't) in the original news article regarding TTP support for ISIS... but as you can see, silly as my comment might have been, it would have struck a chord as the TTP did clarify who they consider the right "Ameer-ul-Momineen"....
If this report is true why is ISPR trying to confuse people that TTP is bad Taliban while Haqqanis are good Taliban? Don't they have common objectives?
And the day very soon coming...the day that every one will be exposed and people will see and know.......who is who and what is what in fact. That day nothing could be hidden and no lie will stand any more, no propaganda will be workable and no agenda will be successful. And those who lies on the name of GOD or Allah will be regretful, shameful and severely punished. All lies will be exposed and the world will get true peace and stability ahead. The main players; USA, Pakistan, Saudi, Afghanistan, Iran and India will be naked in front of the whole innocent world with who they had been playing for decades. Then there will be no way to escape and there will be no lie worked. All the humanity will very soon see the real face of giant shaiatians, Iblis, and devils and their generation will be regretting for centuries.
Afghan Taliban, Pakistani Taliban, TTP, ISIS and all the alphabet soups are one and the same. They can easily be called fanatic terrorists. They are all viruses that can mutate depending upon the situation and environment. One thing is for sure no matter what the mutation is they are enemies of human civilization.
