Fashion Pakistan week to kick off from November 25

KARACHI:


Fashion Pakistan, the leading platform for Pakistani fashion designers, will organise their signature event ‘Fashion Pakistan Week’ from November 25-27, at a local hotel in Karachi.


Fashion Pakistan currently boasts some of the finest designers from the Pakistan fashion industry and has held similar events in the past and promises the upcoming event to be bigger and better in terms of both participation and attendance.

Fashion Pakistan Council, which also recently represented Pakistan as part of a delegation at Aalishan Pakistan Lifestyle Exhibition in New Delhi, organised by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the FICCI.

“Fashion Weeks are a unique opportunity for designers to not only showcase their work to the public, but to also demonstrate to the industry at large the latest trends and innovation in fashion. We at Fashion Pakistan are committed to developing fashion as an industry — this means not only highlighting the excellent work done by FP designers, but also discovering and providing a platform for new talent,” Sanam Chaudhri, chairperson of the council said in a press release.

Wardha Saleem, CEO Fashion Pakistan, added, “Fashion today is so much more than the glamour you see on television and magazines. It is a value-added industry that needs to  be continuously facilitated and upgraded in order to bring value to Pakistan’s economy. And we intend to do just that”.
