@Gulkhaiz:
We know caretaker was responsible, hence, it is more morally responsible on the part of NS to resign to prove allegations incorrect....it is morally acceptable practice the world over to resign for a free investigation to take place. I am not surprised the way you think...absolutely like a Pakistani, there is no such thing as morality or moral values nor there is any word as " resignation " on moral ground in our dictionary nor culture....not surprise by your comment. Countries have moved ahead due to their moral values. The President of S Korea resigned due to the death of 200 school kids....she was not a captain of the ill-fated ship, nor the shipping company under her govt, but she took moral responsibility and resigned, but on contrary, show me one example where our PM , President, or any ministers or general resigned due to so many problems which is associated by governance failures, but have anyone resigned till today..name one person......since. We have majority people like you, who consider resigning as demerit, egoistic and smack of arrogance.....no wonder we are in such a mess.
go nizam go, is that ok? How about go sharif go?
@salman: You are right. What happened when 'Go Zardari Go', and 'Will drag him on the streets of Lahore and Karachi' were shouted by Showbaz during his speeches in the previous government? Never throw stones at others when u live in a glass house.
They are only interested in stopping the slogan which is a political right of any person who does not agree with the policies of Nawaz Shareef government. Instead of getting annoyed and taking the matter to the court, they should resolve the issue of election rigging, murder of fourteen innocent people by Punjab police in Lahore and all the corruption charges which are level against them by the opposition and the vibrant media. The people of Pakistan will not tolerate the incompetence of present rulers and the accountability of these corrupt leaders must be done by powerful NAB and must be held accountable for their wrong doings.
how the court can interfere in stopping political slogans. this is a popular slogan across length and breadth of country, only shareef court can put embargo and will definitely fail to stop this viral slogan just like azadi march.
Go Nawaz Go :)
Government of Pakistan should mandatory for its citizens' to chant "Long Live Nawaz" every morning.
Well it is our democratic right and we shall avail it with full force. So i rightly say ''GO NAWAZ GO''
PTI is indulging in hooliganism and they are inviting the PML-N to do likewise. Where will this all lead to?
“If these bullies chant ‘Go Nawaz Go’ again, we will beat them up with shoes,” Butt said, while addressing the media, following the incident.
Hahahahaha... bullies... I'm guessing he wasnt trying to be funny!
@sardarzaheer:
It is naïve to compare the resignations of "appointed" posts compared to elected govt and PM. With this vicious vendetta Pakistan has become ungovernable. My God bless Pakistan. One only wishes that these zealots show the same zeal against Polio, poverty, ignorance, and other social evils.
LAHORE: Students in Multan chanted ‘Go Nawaz Go’ at former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) president Javed Hashmi when he was on his way to attend a funeral on Friday. The students blocked his car and did not let it pass, till Hashmi pledged to them that he will not join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) again, Express News reported. . This is what I have just copied from Tribune and pasted here so you must watch the words uttered by Hashmi wherein he pledged he will not join PML (N). He as a Muslim should have spoken the truth but time itself shall prove if he spoken the truth or told lies. Iqbal Hadi Zaid
Is there any Freedom of Speech...what ever people of Pakistan want to chant they have right to say it as per constitutions...Is it not subvertion of constitutions should they not tired with article 6...
Yes it is the right of the people to say GO NAWAZ GO. Now people can say do or die and give some relief to the masses by hook and crook. The PML (N) is the inventor of this slogan because they are trend setter of this slogan. When they were coalition partner with PPP they were chanting slogan GO ZARDARI GO.
As you sow will reap. The nation runs by the people not by the Government. If government is failure to deliver in short term then they must go. The PPP and PML (N) always try to involve in long term projects to save their faces in front the masses.
Now the masses need immediate relief from High Rice prices of essential commodities, utilities, corruption, unemployment, vandalism, lawlessness.
Keep up the good work guys. GO NAWAZ GO
Hashmi has been rightly handled by PTI supporters in Naya Pakistan and he should be prepared to swallow such quinine in future also for betraying Imran. Iqbal Hadi Zaidi
GO NAWAZ GO!! Beat me now, can you??
Hats off to Taliban Khan for starting a civil war. While KPK is burning IK and his rich powerful friends are in Islamabad playing the flute for over a month. Who cares even if healthcare is provincial responsibility?
PTI goons are following PMLN leaders around and chanting Go Nawaz Go at PMLN events. That's dangerous and likely to result in clashes like this. IK should show some sense and call his people off.
Go Nawaz go You are dead in Pakistan, will never won again, make space for decent people from your party to take Over, show sone decency which you lack or lost in pursuit of corruption
GO NAWAZ GO go back to Jeddah and leave us alone'
after reading this, just have 3 word response. Go nawaz Go.
GO ALREADDYYY
Bow Nawaz Bow or Go Nawaz Go. Iqbal Hadi Zaidi
Just now in ARY TV news bulletin I saw shirts inscribed with GO NAWAZ GO being sold in Qadri dharna proves that it has become the most popular slogan amongst Pakistanis whether living in Pakistan or overseas. Iqbal Hadi Zaidi
It will remain a wishful thinking & dream. Nawaz and team is our last hope. He IS and will, Inshahallah remain strong. He is popularly elected genuine leader. There is no ioata of doubt in it. God bless him and his family.
@Ch. Allah Daad: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA PMLN workers haven't done vandalism and destroyed properties??? Did you forget gullu butt lol or are you just that dumb and blind??? Oh yeah I forgot you people directly kill by shooting unarmed people at point blank range!
Great!! So rigging of election is acceptable and freedom of speech is not acceptable ???????
@Ishrat Saleem. When a man is obsessed with something he looses sight of the reality, consequently affecting his rational thinking.Caretakers conducted the elections, so why should Nawaz Sharif resign. Moreover nothing has been proved against them(NS/SS) that in any way they were involved in rigging. So please do not equate resignation of Julia with NS.The example is totally irrelevant
Just a note on moral value :
Just in..Ms Julia Pierson a newly appointed Director of US Secret Service has submitted her resignation to the Chief of Homeland Security & has been accepted. Ms Julia resigned following lapses by the elite presidential protection branch due to breach of security by an intruder around WH recently. She resigned to make way for investigation by an independent panel of commission to be named soon.
Would request all to read above lines very carefully...
1 ) She resigned on her own before formation of panel for investigation
2) She resigned, because she took oath against her responsibility of office she is representing.
3) She resigned to make investigation commission free from any interference or influence.
Compare this with our demand....
Election was rigged & almost all political parties agree that election 2013 was not fair.
Yet, our PM is adamant not to resign to give space for an independent investigation to follow...
That is the difference in moral values we have & they have....
any taker ?
Go Nawaz go !!
It seems that their days are numbered now. Go nawaz go!
No law in Pakistan prohibits chanting of slogans peacefully. Violence, as done by PMLN's Butt is a crime and PMs daughter is publicly supporting it and even threatening. That s Democracy in Pakistan!
@Shuaib Bhat: So far PMLN has been the violent party. They have murdered innocent civilians in lahore and isb, thrown stones at peaceful protesters in gujranwala, now beating peaceful protestors. Gulluism
@Ch. Allah Daad: Go Nwaz Go.
@S.Nasir Mehdi:
Unfortunately, since last 16 months, Nawaz Sharif didn't prove himself as elected prime minister.
Lets say it again: GO Nawaz Go
What hubris! It seems the Sharif family continues out of touch with reality. The people of Pakistan demand their rights, and want an end to VVVIP culture.. The Gullus are not lions, they are barbarians, time for all to realise Pakistanis will not accept such cruel ways sitting down. Is Maryam threatening to realise more Gullus? She should settle in Mars with her family...
Removal of PM Nawaz will set a precedent that if any of his successor behaves like Nawaz he will also meet the same fate in other words from now onward PM will have to be on his guard and not otherwise. Iqbal Hadi Zaidi
@Ch. Allah Daad:::It is an open choice for PML-N to adopt any means to silence those chanting against them.N has 2/3rd majority and it is free to either solve the economic problems of people or keep doing what we saw in the video.Choice is their's
It' s means PML will rule pakistan with the help of Gulo butt then you have to hire about one million Gulo but. For God sake butto par raham kara
@Ch. Allah Daad: Remamber Shreef family are founder of slogan Go ZARDARI GO .Tit for tat Why are they crying against Go Nawaz GO
Haha. it means the slogan really pisses them off. Keep going guys. it is working!
Wow, if you can't stop them, just beat them. Is this not an assault against freedom of speech? PMLN is slowly showing its true mentality.
Actually, PTI has become so used to for not being challenged, for what ever they say and do, that they were taken by surprise by the direct response of PML(N),and has sent reverberations a midst PTI ranks. Being apolitical man I think Maryam is right in saying that "civility should not be taken as a sign of weaknes." On the other hand people are disappointed to read the Tweets of PTI supporters These are nothing but repertoire of undeveloped minds. If this is what represents educated class I seriously feel there is something wrong with our system of education.
@Ch. Allah Daad: Now even the Third Umpire is fed up with their nonsense. They have lost respect after their "Inqilaab" was ignored by the nation.
The kings order must be followed without any questions or dissent. Glad to see All those years in saudi were not wasted.
How do you "beat someone with a shoe"? Do you kick them or take your shoe off and smack them with it? The shoe in hand option would allow the person about to be assaulted to simply stand his ground and punch you straight in the face while you whale away with your shoe.
PMLN should simply ignore these slogans as they are being used out of frustration that anarchy did not spread. It simply shows the disappointment being vented by PTI supporters and their leaders.
@Fatima Just prejudiced, period.
This is not vandalism by PTI or PAT. This is their rights which have been given by democracy. Really speaking democracy is a foreign seeds for Pakistan which will never sown in Pakistani soil if sown but will never grow.
If P.M. his family members and their supporters are not prepared themselves to face this bitter truth now it has become universal truth then P.M. must tender his resignation without further delay.
This slogan is not limited to PTI & PAT workers only now it is the voice of whole nation. The masses are perturbed and very much disturbed due to unemployment, inflation, high rocketing prices of essential commodities, corruption. If this type of action will be taken by PML (N) supporters against the masses it means revolution has taken the route in the country.
If PTI and PAT workers and masses are facing any problems and vandalism and gundasim by PML (N) workers and supporters it means Kingdom ship has taken route in the country.
PML(N) workers have never disturbed or vandalised other party's gathering or chanted slogans in front of any national leader. PTI is inventor of this trend without realising the consequences. These cry babies will run towards third empire if PML(N) workers also adopted this attitude.
@Shuaib Bhat: Are you kidding me? You guys threw out a sitting president then a prime minister then brought lawsuit on his replacement now you are ready to extremly punish the president. PMLn even ordered police that killed unarmed civilians, vandalize their property, fired at political caravans and rallies. The list of your atrocities is mile long. Now just a slogan on the walls irritate the bullies? I am surprised!
Come on people can't you see!?! This is democracy according to PMLN,ANP,PPP,JUI,QWP,MQM!! In a democracy all parliamentarians do is talk about the rights of parliamentarians!
We deserve the beatings given to us as Maryam has pointed out because the voice of the people is "vandalism", the only voice which is important is the voice of parliamentarians. How dare we speak up! how dare we make our opinions felt! how dare we demand our rights!
Nawaz You srewed up man.
Disgusting! This goes to show the level of tolerance the political class of Pakistan has! And ironically after ruling the country on and off for the last 32 years, it is their "patience" that is being tested!
@Iqbal Hadi Zaidi:If an elected Prime Minister is forced to resign then the story will not end here. Every minister will face the same tune. It is Go Nawaz Go today it will Go...Go.tomorrow Where is democracy
BOW NAWAZ BOW is perhaps respectable and not as derogatory as GO NAWAZ GO. I request you to please comment which slogan you like the best but remember that BOW NAWAZ BOW is authored by me whereas GO NAWAZ GO author is unknown to be honest. Iqbal Hadi Zaidi
A novel way introduced by the Nawaz league to chase away and discourage the flood affected poor people, who are asking for their rightful share.
So elected representatives can charge people, threaten them and attack them and they won't be charged for assault all because people practice their freedom of speech. Nice country we have.
Does she know the meaning of 'Vandalism' ?
If yes, does she know her party work Gullu Butt who showed to the world what vandalism means?
If feel sorry for a small number of people who for riduculous reasons still support PMLN.
What a shameless peoples are these PML N after all this they still wanna stay may be they need shoes and rocks...
PML- N is falling under the trap. Let PTI supporters chant what ever they want. Democracy allows freedom of expression so long there is no violence resorted . Maryam and likes will be the reasons and causes for the fall of Government. NS will get bad publicity and the bad image.
part of problem is princess thinks that country belong to her because daddy paid for it with ill gotten gain through corruption. Her naive and proactive remarks just further illustrate he appointment is one of worst example of nepotism.
'Vandalism'? When does shouting sloags account as vandalism?
Lols .. this is epic. Maryam nawaz threatens Pakistanis with gullu butts. Little does she know, it is PTI that has been showing restraint else these gullu butts would be left with broken bones by now.
She means lions shouldn't mess with PMLN or they will be paraded in PMLN rallies and die of thirst and heat.
An MPA saying they will beat protestors/opposition party workers with shoes upon chants - how is that even remotely ok? So long for freedom of expression.
Ummm... that is called "assault" and a chargeable act.
But of course, PLMN mentality would dictate that they are above the law.
Difference between Gullu Butts and a democratic party is that latter chant slogans whereas the former beat protesters, break public and private property and use police to murder unarmed political workers. GO NAWAZ GO.
PMLN is not realising that these slogans are being raised by ordinary people and not only by workers of PTI/ PAT. The reaction of people on violence like that of MPA from PMLN will be very severe. It should be avoided.
So that's PMLN solution, beat up everyone who doesn't support them?
riiight the ppl chanting slogans are the bullies not the ones beating them up lol /oppositeday
If PML-N chanted Go Imran Go at Azadi march watch what would've happened.
PTI supporters have vandalised Geo buildings, beaten Geo journalists!! They are by far more violent than any other supporters and by far the most intolerant.
PMLN were happy enough to shout go zardari go a few years ago, but seems like they can't handle go nawaz go! :)
If they are that much sincere to democracy or even their own party, they should all beg Nawaz to resign and let any one else come in, but is that even thinkable for these slaves aka political workers?
I will repeat what I commented before that it is really very right and ripe time for PM Nawaz to tender resignation otherwise it is quite possible that may be his own family including Maryam and Kalsoom may also shout GO NAWAZ GO, I am afraid. Iqbal Hadi Zaidi
