QUETTA: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter aircraft crashed near Kuchlak, outskirt of Quetta, on Wednesday morning due to a technical fault. The pilot sustained minor injuries.

“The fighter aircraft on operational training mission crashed after it developed a fault. The pilot planned a successful ejection and was safely airlifted,” Air Commander Tariq Mehmood, spokesperson Pakistan Air Force, told The Express Tribune.

The Air Headquarter has ordered an inquiry into the incident to determine the exact cause of the crash.

“The aircraft crashed in a vacant area and there was no loss of life and property in the area,” he said.

@kulwant singh: That's Okay, and thanks to Almighty, pilot is safe. It is the incompetence of newspaper editing department which is being questioned, not the survival of pilot or not. Two different subjects.

The crash records don't matter.....being Indian or pakistani..doesn't matter.....losing a precious life to an old and faulty system really matters....Although PGs are not that old....but still. ..Thank God pilot is safe...
