@Anjum Arshi: Imran Khan has nothing to hide. His assetts are all present on PTI website .Before crticizing go and check the website.KPK goverment in PTI was given an award by the Federal goverment for best financial management in the province.
Corruption in KPK has significantly declined compared to other provinces.Hospitals and Schools are working far better than in Punjab or Sindh. The Police in KPK is appointed on merit and there is no political interference what so ever..Lets be honest and fair in our comments.
The script theory planted by PMLN has failed. You should admit that fact.
@sardarzaheer: If ECP is honest than they would have resigned long time ago.Every political party said that Elections were massively rigged and yet ECP members want to stick to their positions and do not offer resignation..
@Asfandyar: But IK resignation is not accepted yet. He also does not want it to be accepted. His appointed "Jirga" Chair Mr. Sirajul Haq is begging the Speaker NOT to accept the resignations. Resignations are a hoax. Nobody has resigned nor they will, until they have "iron clad" guarantees from Establishment that new elections will be held soon AND that they will win these elections.
Maybe all this drama was to avoid submitting his assets. I wonder how much they have amassed through 1.5 years government in KP?
Dear ECP,
Please dare to suspend all those members who not submitted asset details...but no you would not be able to do such bold act...as it will cost a new election which your current handler would not want...
Asfandyar
You are so funny dude. Basically you are providing a cover to Imran's hypocrisy by mentioning that he isn't a member of parliament. By the way, he is a member, until resignation is accepted. And by the way, if PTI is all about making things right, then its this the duty of IK to submit his assets details on time? Oh and if you are driving right now, take a U-Turn.
Within a few days amnesty will be granted and date extended for submitting asset details. Thats how it works.
@Akib: Imran has announced his rebellious intentions and he doesn't trust this system and the authorities have filed FIRs against him, he is justified in not submitting the documents, Would you remind me why Ishaq Dar couldn't submit his assets details being the custodian of state finances? thanks :-)..... And please, when you intend to draw a comparison, try to be realistic in terms of the ground realities and capacities of different personalities... comparing Punjab and KP is one big example which has been manipulated right after elections 2013. And the comparison of PML-N government in Punjab and PTI in KP... wrongest comparisons and extreme manipulation I must say.....
Imran Khan is still an MNA and the party leader for PTI. What happened to his transparency and declaring of assets now? Yet another U-turn...
i think one fact should be determined by now in 60 years, personalities are stronger than institutions in Pakistan and only after that could we possibly establish its impact and influence on the future of country..... The whole world and development indicators show this fact, but due to addiction of being faithful and identifying themselves pious, fabricated stories and procedures would always be circulated around the masses..... There is another indicator that could be used, get all the tax submission documents of all politicians that they submit in other countries and then bring the calculation of their taxation in Pakistan... Nearly all lords contribute more to other countries' economies than their own..... bring the documents and draw a comparison... BUT WHO WOULD DARE TO INVITE THE WRATH OF THEIR LORDS... lolz......
ECP has failed to deliver and lost confidence of Pakistani public.Such an exercise to get the assetts of MNAs and MPAs on a peace of papers is of no value unless and untill there is a mechanism in place to see the "real assets" of our elected (selected) politicians. This election commission members should have shown the courage to resign and pave way for a new, competent and honest body that can conduct a truly transparent election in Pakistan. Giving resignation is very much constitutional and sooner they give this better it is for the country.
No law can get them...politicians the Cancers of our society !!
