Drive-by: District judge escapes attempt on life
The car managed to drive through the hail of bullets and both Khilji and his guard narrowly escaped the attack.
SHABQADAR:
An additional sessions judge narrowly escaped an attempt on his life when unidentified miscreants fired on his car on Shabqadar-Peshawar Road. A Shabqadar police official confirmed judge Asghar Ali Shah Khilji was on his way to Peshawar from Shabqadar courts after work. When he reached Pahalwan Qilla around 2.30pm, two unidentified motorcyclists opened fired on his car. The car managed to drive through the hail of bullets and both Khilji and his guard narrowly escaped the attack.
