FIR registered against PM, 10 others over death of PTI protesters
PTI had filed a petition in a district and sessions court for the registration of the FIR against the PM and 10 others after three PTI protesters were killed during clashes between the police and protesters in Islamabad on August 31.
On September 27, an additional sessions judge ordered the Secretariat police to register a case against the PM and 10 others while disposing of the petition filed by PTI.
The FIR, whose number is 221/14, includes sections 302, 324, 109 of the Pakistan Penal Code as well as Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, and has been registered in the Secretariat police station -- thereby charging the people included with acts of terrorism and murder.
Aside from the prime minister, the FIR has also been registered against Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.
The order has been issued by the Additional District and Sessions Court Judge Shahrukh Arjumand.
This is the second FIR that has been lodged against the premier and other cabinet members. The first one was registered on August 29 by the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) -- for the Model Town incident -- as ordered by the Lahore High Court (LHC).

Good news, everyone is equal in front of justice. The justice must prevail and the system selective justice must come to an end. This is high time for the judicial system of Pakistan to provide justice to its ordinary citizens otherwise there will be anarchy in the country.

@H Chaudhry: So basically you're saying that article 62 and 63 are just a joke in the constitution? Liars can become PM's of Pakistan, because it is a "subjective" matter. It's one thing to have a wishful thought, but this is a Naya Pakistan in the making, where article 62 and 63 won't be a matter of non issue. It's high time we Pakistanis raise our standards, and pick quality leaders. We deserve better my friend.

The whole system will protect him, like all parties became one party to protect NS.
The basic question wexing a common man's mind is," How the PM, CM ( Punjab ) and others nominated in adjudicated FIRs are still holding their offices? As a matter of principle and inaccordance with the constitutional provisions they must be removed from their posts until declared innocent by the superior courts.

If justice is served then Allah has granted us with a naya pakistan, and He is the most just.
Mostly people here are bashing PTI but I rather have PTI any day than PPP or PML(N). New system and parties should come forward and try to bring changes. These PPP and PML(N) looters need to punish for their crimes. They have devalued our currencies with their loots. We have become a joke worldwide. It is sad to see people and their thinking which didn't even change despite so many years of struggles. I guess people prefer living as slaves rather than self-sustained citizens.
@S again "Lie" is subjective thing that means one is saying truth and other is lying. This is not a simple thing to prove in common law. Actually, this is a very difficult thing to prove in the context. The case will be dismissed!

if the results of these FIR are not coming to IK wishes then he will kick out these courts as well. After all, new pakistan means "Accept me and my lies" otherwise everything is fraud.
@Pakistani: Pakistan has become a country of looters, snatchers and robbers, They are all the people sitting in the Parliament. Ask them where the Rs. 500 billion went to reduce circular debt? Ask them what happened to all the aid? Ask them where the IMF loans are going? Ask them why the poor are being taxed more than the rich. Ask them why they don't pay taxes? Ask them why they have businesses outside of Pak, and beg other investors to invest here?
@H Chaudhry: Well PM's track record is not in his favor. He lied about the NRO, he lied about the deal he made with Musharaf, and he lied about his assets. I mean, it doesn't have to be the lie about the COAS he should be tried for every lie he has ever said while he was PM. Perjury is a serious crime, at least in the US. He shouldn't be spared. He should be made an example, for others and he should be tried for all the lies he said while holding any official position, ALL the times he was in govt.

My dear PMLN friends....the FIR is registered against PMLN ministers and leaders, not because they just happened to be in power when 3 people got killed, BUT because they created and made a policy to attack protesters...there is a difference. I hope you guys will understand the difference.

Instead of registaring F.I.R against administration N gov.. it should be registered against Imran khan and Qadri,. who incited people for suicide and brain washed same like talibans do for their suicider brother. If self defence will become crime in Pakistan,,, Pakistan will become looters snatchers and robbers heaven.

Tomorrow if some one will die in PTI government will the FIR be registered agianst the highest level leaders of the government or that party. Don't know where we are heading towards and there this trend will take us towards as remember what happened to ZA Bhotto in the past.
@aqsa So how can you tell if PM lied, what if Army is lying. Point is there is no way to tell in "He Said She Said". The case will be dismissed.
@Expecting N to Go - Guys get real, this is just FIR which is only taken to get cry babies quite. There is NO LEGAL BASIS what so ever. Actually, IK + Qadri will be in huge trouble as right after this FIR is quashed, question will come who "INCITED VIOLENCE" against state. Law is very mean, brace yourself.
What's the use, our courts are too "sharif" to ever punish and implement the punishment against any mega criminal.
@Parvez: I think more Pakistanis would like to see an FIR lodged against PTI and Imran Khan for his willful destruction of the country's economy and provoking the deaths of innocent protesters. The riots took place because of violent protesters. Do you think they are charging Obama for the police killing of violent protesters in Ferguson Missouri? Grow up PTI.
If PM Gillani can be disqualified for not writing letter to Swiss govt as per directive by court then why the same logic can't apply on PMNS for misquoting and open lie in NA and FIR registered against him?/
