Mishap: Man dies of electrocution

Locals recovered Azam’s body after thirty minutes.

MANSEHRA: A man was electrocuted while fishing in the Siran River in Jabori village on Saturday. Police and eyewitnesses said 25-year-old Azam put a live electricity wire in the river to catch fish. He later plunged into the water in order to collect the dead fish, but had forgotten to disconnect the power connection. He died on the spot. Locals recovered Azam’s body after thirty minutes.
