Jobs Security: 50,000 health workers regularised

LAHORE: The government decided on Friday to regularise the services of 50,000 National Programme for Family Planning and Primary Healthcare employees. The Health Department issued a notification in this regard. Health Secretary Jawad Rafique Malik said their services had been regularised from July 1, 2012. He said lady health supervisors had been placed in grade seven, lady health workers in grade five and drivers in grade in grade four. Malik said executive district officers and district officers had been instructed to immediately issue notifications in this regard.
