The FIA team visited the site of the explosion today and inspected it for two hours. The team collected fingerprints and other evidence from the blast site. It also took Awan's personal weapons into custody.
On September 25, two people were killed and at least seven others were injured in the powerful blast which took place in Gizri locality just as Police Superintendent (SP) Farooq Awan, chief of the Criminal Investigation Department’s (CID) Special Investigation Unit (SIU), was passing by the area on his way home from work. SP Awan escaped the attack – the third attempt on his life – with minor injuries.
Experts from the bomb disposal squad (BDS) confirmed the blast was carried out using a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED). According to a BDS official, over 50kg of explosive material was used in the device.

So that's fascinating? Maybe it is ball-less improvised device- we are dealing with something new here. They should check the hominid dimensions of the explosion and crevice impressions on the site.
