Keeping watch: CM seeks report on rape investigation

Action should be taken against those obstructing justice, CM Shahbaz Sharif

LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday took notice of a self-immolation attempt by a 12-year-old rape victim in Multan and sought a report from the regional police officer. He said action should be taken against those obstructing justice. He said those who had abducted and raped the girl should be taken to task according to the law. He said justice would be provided to the girl and her family as soon as possible.
