The Afghan Foreign Ministry said that Pakistani authorities allegedly "stopped and searched the vehicles" belonging to the Afghan consulate in Peshawar.
A suicide car bomb attack aimed at DG Frontier Corps killed five people on Tuesday and led to heightened security alert across the city.
"The Pakistani Charge d'affairs, Syed Muzam Shah was summoned told that the diplomats, who had been in the consulate vehicle, were forced to come out of the official car.
According to a statement released by the Afghan foreign office late on Wednesday, Shah was told that treatment of Afghan diplomats was against diplomatic norms, Vienna Convention and the spirit of good neighbourly relations.
The statement added that Afghanistan wanted an immediate inquiry into the incident as any such act could have "negative impact on friendly bilateral relations.”
For his part, the Pakistani diplomat assured that he would convey Afghan concerns to the concerned officials.

What's happening in Pak is due to the idiots around it like Afghanistan n india
Thanks to Afghanistan India n Usa@Aslam:
Pakistan is an outlaw country. Entire region is concern and the world. They are a shame in the name of Islamic country.
Are Pakistanis getting desperate because of attack on senior army officer? One has to appreciate Afghans who has been coping with these sort of attacks since the times of Sardar Daud & Bhutto. Take it easy my Pakistani friends you have long way to go before you learn that this colonial Durand line is irrelevant. Pashtun Afghans on both sides of Durand Line do not have a choice but trade, jobs & business for the growing population to survive. Same as Pakistani Punjabis do not have choice but to trade with Indian Punjab making the borders irrelevant.
@ Fareed: Yeah Haqanis and TTP both should be on that side. And the Afghans only value friendly bilateral relations with India and yes we cherish strategic assets and we will continue to make sure we do so in future as well.
@Taimur khan
Typical pakistani answer, who always talk about mine, bomb, rifle pistol....when you say all Afghans, did you include haqanis too or not umm i dont think so!
@Fareed: Ship all Afghans back and mine the border. @Fareed, please make sure you stay on the Afghan side.
Afghans officials should know that only they value "friendly bilateral relations.” not those who cherish strategic assets!
