Eid preparations: ‘No hide collection without approval’

KARACHI:

The home department has imposed a ban on the collection of hides of sacrificial animals without the prior permission of deputy commissioners during the three days of Eidul Azha.

This was decided at a meeting presided over by home secretary Dr Niaz Ali Abbasi on Wednesday. The meeting also affirmed that no group or political party will be allowed to set up camps and/or use loudspeakers on vehicles or buildings.
