Accidents and injuries: Three people killed, one injured

One person was reported to be dead while another was injured.

Three people were killed while another was injured in separate accidents in Ghotki on Tuesday.


According to sources, the first accident took place on the National Highway near Naro Wah within the limits of the Mirpur Mathelo police station. One person was reported to be dead while another was injured. The deceased was identified as Sanaullah Khoso, a resident of Thul.


Khoso was on his way to Mirpur Mathelo and was driving a Datsun pickup. The accident took place when he tried to manoevre the vehicle to save a cyclist. However, the vehicle overturned and he died on the spot. The cyclist, a man identified as Mir Ahmed Dhondho, was injured and taken to Rahim Yar Khan for treatment.


Separately, the body of a man was found on the railway tracks near the Chandio railway crossing near Mirpur Mathelo. The body was taken to Civil hospital, where the deceased was identified as Ahmed Khan, a resident of Sahiwal, Punjab.


Meanwhile, the body of an unidentified drug addict was found near the railway crossing near Jarwar.
