No respite: Two people shot dead

KARACHI: Two people were shot dead in separate acts of target killings on Monday. Meanwhile, the bodies of two men were found from different parts of the city.  Shahid Asif, 30, was shot dead in Orangi Town. SHO Tanvir Murad said that the deceased used to work as an agent outside an office of the National Database and Registration Authority. He added the victim was called to the abandoned site by an unknown person and was later shot and killed over unexplained reasons. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy. A young man, identified as 22-year-old Waleed Baloch, son of Wazir Baloch, was shot dead in an act of target killing in Jhat Pat Market, Lyari, within the limits of Kalakot police station. The body of a young man was found from Sultanabad, Manghopir. It was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy, where he was later identified as Javed Iqbal, son of Hafiz Muhammad Hussain. SHO Ghulam Hussain Korai said that the deceased hailed from Rajanpur and unidentified persons had shot and killed him over unexplained reasons. Separately, another body of a young man was found from Korangi.
