After a dull first half, Khuda Bakhsh scored the match-winning goal just four minutes before the final whistle as Wapda won their second successive match against KRL that allowed them to stay on top of the standings with 53 points. KRL sit third with 36 points.
In the second match of the day, Muhammad Imran scored the opening goal in the 20th minute as Army led 1-0 at the interval. However, Young Blood turned the tables in the second half as Khawar Khalid equalised in the 72nd minute and Asim Mansoor sealed the win in the 81st minute. Despite the loss, Army stay second with 39 points while Young Blood moved up to 13th place with 14 points.
