Six candidates interviewed for NEPRA hot seat

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, while heading a special committee, interviewed six shortlisted candidates for the post of National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA).

The Special Committee comprises secretary Finance, secretary Establishment, secretary Water & Power and additional secretary Cabinet Division as members. Headed by Dar, the committee interviewed six prospective candidates for the slot of NEPRA chairman.

A decision regarding the final selection would be taken in due course.

some1 pl tell them that all technical experts donot have PhD which is research degree in a narrow area, but they have practical experience. So when they shd ad next time posts for Chairman/MD level in any dept, donot ask for PhD scholar as generally they have no admin/managerial experience. If they are too good give them HEC job in a university For this post, pl consider ex-Member Water WAPDA Mr Mushtaq Ch who is from this field and has private experience now.

The advertisements of key position is little far even for senior position like SECP ref. commissioner positions the way jobs are advertised clearly shows the interest.
