KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and former provincial minister Owais Muzaffar inaugurated a cleanliness drive in Thatta, Badin and Sajawal by sweeping the streets in Gharo on Friday. “The residents of these cities are the soldiers of the Bhuttos,” he said, appealing to them to cooperate with the local bodies to make the drive a success. “Thatta, Badin and Sajawal will be completely cleaned, because they are strongholds of the party.” He further said that the drive was initiated on the instructions of former president Asif Ali Zardari and PPP chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, adding that the party would also try to solve the problems of other districts.
