Policeman shot dead in Lahore
Two robbers on a motor bike shot one of the police officials, identified as Ghulam Mustafa, thrice. The two cops were taken to Jinnah Hospital, where Mustafa was pronounced dead on arrival.
The other police official was released from the hospital after receiving medical assistance.
Both the robbers managed to flee after the shooting and the police are carrying out further investigations into the incident.
Security in the area has been tightened and the shooting site has been cordoned off.

@Blithe: Unfortunately that will never happen as long as your leader keeps using the police as his own private army.

We need to give these brave officers due respect . We need to also increase their pay and privileges to those of the army (or reallocate resources)
