SU establishes monitoring cell
HYDERABAD:
The Sindh University (SU) vice-chancellor secretariat has set up a monitoring cell to keep an active eye on academic activities and student and faculty attendance on the campus. Vice chancellor Prof Dr Imdad Ali Ismaili made this decision after talking to students during a review of ongoing educational activities in various departments. He said that SU was shifting to ISO certification, leading to changes such as the introduction of online attendance systems. He added that 75 per cent attendance was now compulsory for appearing in examinations.
