Woman gives birth to quintuplets in Karachi

Hospital sources say she gave birth to four girls, one of whom passed away, and a boy

KARACHI: A woman gave birth to quintuplets at a private hospital in Karachi's North Nazimabad area, Express News reported on Wednesday.

According to hospital sources, the woman gave birth to four girls and a boy. One of the girls, however, passed away, the sources added.

The woman's family reportedly belongs to Quetta, and is said to have given birth to the quintuplets 16 years after having her previous child.

Sources at the hospital also said that the babies were normal and have been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit.
