12 soldiers, 3 civilians injured in Islamabad road accident
The accident took place on Murree Road near Rawal Chowk.
According to initial details, a vehicle of the Pakistan Army ran over a footpath reportedly because of speeding.
Another vehicle, which was coming from behind, collided with it, resulting in the casualties.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

@Emo: I have come across a couple very recent articles in the foreign media critical of zrb e azb The articles seem to be by Pakistanis who may have gone broad to further their studies in political science and then found jobs there in "research institutions ".
Perhaps it gives these people a career boost to be critical of our armed forces. Perhaps it pains them to see the successes. Perhaps they cannot see that our soldiers are laying down their lives to save their or the relatives these people have elect behind. Our army seems to be in a perpetual "damned if you damned if you don't ".
Perhaps they cannot see the thuggery of those hooligans who claim a right to parliamentary seat on bogus votes. The rapes committed by the sons of "elected" MNAS or the appropriation of private property by the MNAs or the daily corruption of those claiming their residence in PM or CM house.
Over the years I have not come across one article in the foreign media written by a Pakistani that has not maligned f our armed forces. Yet these people have been silent on the atrocities of the "politicians " in government.
@Atif: Are you awake? Do you think that they overspeed on purpose with so many soldiers on board? Perhaps you have not heard of the activity called suicide bombing. Speed is the only way to deter those attacks. It also helps identify potential attack because he will have to move much faster to catch up with the target. Its a fashion to thrash armed forces these days. At least learn to respect those non commissioned soldiers and the young commissioned officers. They bleed for things like you. These security protocols are becoming a nuisance for everyone. They break the law overspeed all the time and honk at civilians.
