Nabbed: Four robbers arrested in raid on house

The arrests were made by the Nawab Town police.

Police arrested four robbers on Saturday and seized weapons and valuables from them. The arrests were made by the Nawab Town police. They said the four were involved in several cases of street crime in the area.



SHO Naveed Azam said they had received a tip-off about the presence of criminals at a house in Wahab Society. “We raided the house and arrested Imtiaz alias Majhoo, Aqeel alias Topi, Rizwan alias Popa and Yousaf,” he said. Azam said they were members of a robbers’ gang. He said weapons, cash, valuables and jewellery were seized from them.

“Investigation has shown that the four robbed people in Nawab Town, Kahna, Ichhra, Shadbagh, Mozang and Burki,” the SHO said.
