Domestic Dispute: Man shot, injured over second marriage

SHANGLA: A man was shot and injured on Saturday in Konshai, Besham by his sister-in-law over his second marriage. An official of Lal Muhammad Shaheed police station said Bakhtmand Gul was present at his house with his wife Nusrat, her mother Badu and sister Farzana. Nusrat was reportedly unhappy over Gul’s second marriage. During the ensuing argument, Farzana picked up a gun and shot Gul. He was taken to the hospital, while Farzana managed to flee. The police arrested Nusrat and Badu. Gul was later referred to Ayub Medical Complex. Further investigation in the case is under way.
