Precautionary Measures: Ban on pillion riding from midnight
Senior citizens, journalists, women and law enforcement personnel will be exempted.
KARACHI:
The Sindh home department has imposed a ban on pillion riding in Karachi for the next ten days. The decision comes in the wake of the fresh wave of violence, particularly the sectarian target killings, that have hit the city in recent days. The ban,imposed from midnight on Wednesday, will be effective until September 19. Senior citizens, journalists, women and law enforcement personnel will be exempted.
